Our Director of Kah Ching (our accountant lah!) - Simon, was sitting with me at our Lolipop Love booth in the Happy Hippy event @ Threadzoo on 6 & 7 Dec 08. Business was a bit slow as it was the Hari Raya Haji weekend so there was not much customers. Then a hot girl wearing the skimpiest of shorts and a white see through shirt came around and offered the vendors some muruku and we were included. I declined as I was trying (desperately!) to stick to my diet however Simon took some and the girl moved away to pass the muruku to the other vendors opposite of us.
I asked Simon after the girl moved away - "How's the muruku?" He replied instinctively -"Tasteless, yuck!". I laughed it off. However after a few minutes the girl came back and with a big smile asked Simon - " So how was it?". Simon (the big flirt) gave his megawatt "hey baby, come hither" look and said - "Oh it was good! really delicious."(Lita sitting next to him gave Simon a dirty look.) The girl got excited and said -"Oh wow! You like them. Would you like to buy a whole bag of muruku?" and preceded to pull out a bag of muruku from her bag. Simon now cant very well say no to her when he had complimented her on her tasteless muruku, and he had to fork out RM2.50 for a whole bag of it. I was giggling like a mad hyena next to him while he was paying and the girl looked at both of us puzzled. If only she knew! :P
